Ukraine dissemination

Participants from Ukraine team due to the situation of the war in Ukraine they were in different places in europe so they shared in teams and they made online follow up activities for our project.

The participants Viktoriia Shefer, Kateryna Kuz, Liza Kukovska from Ukraine made an online meeting with Zoom at 17.06.22; 19:00-20:30. In the activity 59 people registered, 28 attended, most of the people were around 18-25, all of them were interested in Erasmus+ projects, they asked questions about In&Out, In planet, Acpelia and Development and Initiative. Our idea was to promote In&Out as well as Erasmus+ projects in general. As we are not in Ukraine, we used Zoom platform and shared the announcement in different chats in social media like Facebook, Instagram, Telegram. Development and Initiative also posted an announcement on its pages, Viktoriia's university did the same. We also shared it on our own Facebook and Instagram pages, where all of our followers could see it.our program: Kristina Todoroska, Marija Jovcheska made an activity in Ohrid, North Macedonia with 16 young people of different profiles took part in the dissemination workshop. Among them were project developers, youth leaders, youth workers and members of our and other local youth organisations (3 different youth organisations altogether). The age range of the group was 17 to 34 year-olds.

We had a webinar in Zoom where we showed our presentation about our experience in Erasmus+ projects, "In&Out" precisely. We discussed such matters as

*what is academic mobility in frames of Erasmus+ projects;

*how to write a motivation letter and become a participant of projects;

*Which soft skills are needed and what we developed during "In&Out";

*projects that are available for Ukrainian youth and how to apply;

*what is In Planet, Acpelia and Development and Initiative;

*Project "In&Out": main goals, insights and conclusions.

And we also answered a number of questions. Most of the participants have never attended Erasmus+ projects and they were interested in taking part in some in the nearest future.

What the participants said about the project:

Liza: With the help of Ukrainian NGO Development & Initiative my first Erasmus+ experience was "IN & OUT Innovation through thinking outside the box" program, which took place in Glyfada, Athens, Greece. And that was a good start. One week of cultural explosion to countries all around Europe - from North Macedonia to Moldova, we talked about human rights and tried to build a better self with special exercises. In between games and reflections I had a great pleasure to talk with other participants about their national conflicts and fights for freedom, which was very interesting to me, as a Ukrainian in the middle of war times. Having such a broad representation of countries was indeed very-very special. I also had a platform to talk honestly about my views on human rights nowadays, which was refreshing and brought a discussion to unexpected realm for many. The openness of the program inspired me. It gave me the kick to be more open to other nationals and show me how to better present topics, which are dear to me.

Viktoria: Erasmus+ is a powerful experience. It can change your life completely. That's what happened with me on a project "In&Out" in Greece, Athens. Living abroad for a week, learning from people from other cultures, making friends and having fun while gaining new knowledge is something you will never ever forget. I want to express my gratitude towards organizations In-Planet, Acpelia and Development and Initiative for providing me with the opportunity to attend the project. I learnt a lot about human rights, setting goals, improving myself and of course, thinking out of box. Moreover, it is really important right now to represent the situation in Ukraine, to show our culture and our character. We're really lucky to show ourselves to such comprehensive and understanding people. Exploring a city of myths and legends is what I dreamt of. Thank you, Erasmus, for making my dreams come true
Katherina: I'm grateful for an opportunity to represent Ukraine in "IN&OUT" training course in Athens, Greece. After this project I've realized that each Erasmus+ adds new colors to my life! This project helped me realize that people are so different and the word "different" doesn't mean something bad or unpleasant. It's just about the different people's "abilities": ability to be creative, ability to discover something new, ability to be awesomely charming, friendly and open to the endless world. So, because of all of these people I learned a lot! The main insight that I've got, of course, is how to think out of the box in any sphere of my life. This helps me to grow and improve my personality, perceive any problem as a challenge and one step forward towards reaching the best version of myself. Because of this project I can set clear goals and reach them easily, and know and understand myself better. Additionally, I send many thanks to the host organization In-Planet and the coordinator Acpelia for the support throughout the whole training course and the appreciation to NGO "Development and Initiative" for an opportunity to get this one of a kind experience and so valuable memories from that place in Greece, Athens (Glyfada).
Kateryna: Well, this project was a sip of fresh air for me after fleeding the war in Ukraine. I had a wonderful opportunity to have a look over the capital of ancient myths and legends, enjoy sunny weather, create connections with tens of different people and even make a friend. We were discussing many important topics during the project and I would definitely like to come again! The most impressive, in my opinion, was the opportunity to share our cultures during Cultural night. As a representative of Ukraine I felt heard and the participants' attitude was unforgettably heart-warming. Thanks to both sending and hosting organization for this amazing experience.
