Evaluation by the Centre for Rural Development - SEE, Struga, North Macedonia

The project "Innovation through Thinking outside the Box" is a project which is a solid example of open and supportive cooperation between all the participating entities.

Our experience as a partner to this project is the following:

- We were consulted and directly involved in the preparation of the project application by providing information about the topic and the organizational needs, the needs of our youth workers as well as the young people in the local community. This was done in the format of a questionnaire distributed to all the partners by the coordinator of the project.

- A Messenger chat group was formed by the coordinator and we were updated about the developments in it, as well as receive all the necessary documents/links to documents. The chat group was also an effective means to remind us to do our tasks in time given the amount of work each organization has to do during calls and the time constraints.

- After the project was approved, we were notified officially in the Messenger chat group first and then via email. We had meetings to inform us about the project, the requirements and the process. We had the opportunity to learn everything concerning the project and provide our feedback as to the participants, the dates, the programme, the ticketing, etc.

- Cooperation was smooth between CRD - SEE and the coordinator of the project and later the host.

- We were provided with all the necessary support throughout all the project stages and have a solid cooperation and amicable communication. We too provide the necessary support in all the project stages regarding the preparation of the participants, the participation in the PDA (our team was one of the most active and responsible during the PDA in Athens). We have also implemented the dissemination quickly after the PDA and have provided all the necessary documents to the host and coordinator.

- In the preparation stage of the project, the coordinator created the webpage which shares the project topics, teams, dissemination and other key information regarding the project, as well as a Facebook group where all the participants were invited to present themselves prior to attending the PDA. The group also shared essential information about the PDA before, during and after the PDA.

- We received the internal agreements for cooperation listing clearly all the responsibilities the organization and the participants have regarding the project in all the stages. We gained access to all the agreements with all the partners since they were uploaded in a common Dropbox folder. This shows transparency in the partnership and a solid basis for trust.

- The implementation of the PDA was done in a quality manner and the trainers/facilitators were well-prepared and always approachable. Our participants had no problem discussing their needs and exchanging ideas for improvements. They were heard, considered and actively involved in all the activities in the PDA.

- The venue was very pleasant, clean and the food was good.

- In the follow-up stage, we did a dissemination workshop for our local members and they loved the new methods they learned to actively listen and respond accordingly. We have gained very useful skills and knowledge through our participants in the project and we will apply them in the future in our work with local youngsters. Our youth workers already feel more confident to engage in creative and innovative activities for the community. The response of the targeted audience of the dissemination activity was very positive and we have started planning further activities to nurture creativity and communication among them.

- Our team was quite pleased with the PDA and has no negative remarks whatsoever. They do have a suggestion, though, for the free-time activities in the evenings. It would be a good idea to include some social games to further the interaction between all the participants and to create a bit of positive competition among them. The Top 10 during the PDA was excellent and other social games could further benefit the cohesion of the group allowing for stronger future cooperation and even friendships.

- As a partner to this project, we are grateful for the overall project management by the coordinator ACPELIA and the host IN PLANET.

So far our cooperation has been one of the most successful ones and we look forward to future collaborations together.

Evaluation from ACPELIA, CYPRUS

Actually our NGO had a great cooperation with INPLANET Greece as hosting organisation. From the beggining of our project in the writing of the application our trainers and participants were involved and we had a really nice cooperation with the applicant organisation.

As we were in charge for a lot of things of the project we believe that we have done as NGO with the applicant organisation our best so to have a nice training and very good follow up from the organisations.

The place was suitable for our whole activity and as we can see from our participants reports they like it all and they had the chance to implement follow up activities in Cyprus

So far our cooperation has been one of the most successful ones and we look forward to future collaborations together.

We would like to reflect on our lost-standing partnership with INPLANET Greece NGO and its great results. This year our organization is beyond grateful to have been a partner for the "Innovation through thinking outside the box" project which took place in Athens, Greece in the end of May 2022. The project was aimed at youth's self-improvement, personal development, time-management, tolerance towards diverse groups of people and other topics relevant in today's world. These goals were to be achieved by sharing and spreading particular methods, which would help young people become more balanced and happier in their daily lives as well as help reach better employability rates, through partner NGOs.

We would like to emphasize that communication throughout all stages - from project planning to the actual implementation of the project - was open and very smooth. At the beginning all partners met online and started planning different activities all together. A group on Facebook platform was created where we could exchange ideas and share how the project preparation was going. Later the same group was extended to all participants of the project which gave them an opportunity to meet each other before the project and get to know other teams and organizers better.

At "Innovation through thinking out of the box", Ukraine and our NGO were represented by 4 bright individuals who were chosen based on their strong motivation. Right after being selected, the organizers held a webinar for all participants and discussed how we were going to proceed with project preparation. Every participant needed to sign a contract and received a detailed InfoPack covering the project's day-by-day schedule and particular activities. Besides, participants were expected to research self-awareness cases in their respective countries before the project and discuss those once they were in Greece. This largely contributed to the participants' understanding of the topic.

The project itself was very well-prepared. The schedule had a great balance of energizers, group work and self-knowledge sessions, cultural activities, reflections, and time in the city. It was just enough time for the participants to gain new knowledge, discuss it with peers and process all of it just before they go back home. Everyone felt welcomed and could ask for help or advice whenever it was needed. Our representatives were satisfied with the project, shared this experience on their social media and with their local communities.

All in all, we are very pleased to have been a part of this project and consider it to be a successful one. The project's goals were achieved, and the results are now being disseminated on the local level. We are grateful for all the support and experience our organization gained along the way. We are looking forward to future collaborations and would be glad to be partners again.
